Dragonkin’s Tracker Update Brings Fire and Finesse
Eko Software’s dragon-scorched ARPG Dragonkin: The Banished has unleashed its first major Early Access patch—the Tracker Update—and it’s a scorcher. Now live on Steam, the update adds a new assassin hero, a volcanic biome, and a suite of quality-of-life improvements designed to sharpen pacing, progression, and build variety.
Meet the Tracker
Qara Tani joins the hero roster as a swift, poison-wielding assassin built for targeted burst damage and agile combos. With 17 skills at her disposal, she excels in crowded fights thanks to signature moves like Dance of Daggers and Noxious Star. Her unique tracking mechanic also deepens tactical play in endgame hunts.
New Biome: Erde-Nor
Adventurers can now explore the ash-choked volcanic region of Erde-Nor, complete with four new maps, lava-adapted enemies, and elite Champions. The Catacombs of Fire dungeon adds purification rituals and lore-driven Hunt missions that unlock rare loot.
Class Expansions & QoL Tweaks
Original classes gain two new abilities each, while the Ancestral Grid opens up fresh build paths. Key quality-of-life changes include:
- Revamped loot filter for smarter drops
- Death recap screen for better combat feedback
- A smoother onboarding experience for new players
All backed by bug fixes and balance adjustments.
